I would say that the game that thing to keep anyone hooked to it, i started playing and i knew that  anyhow i have to finish to the game. And i guess our player has a lot of HP, i never had to press self heal

had alot of fun playing this with the shadow attack i think i would be a good idea to make it so it your in between 2 you can get out. the heath does reset after every turn so look into that aswell

FIRST, THE FEEBBACK

1. Boss' tentacles could stand to be animated

2. Your player character's health doesn't carry over between turns (if you get hit and go down to 88 hp, you're back up to 100 on the boss' turn even if you didn't heal)

3. The 'shadow' attack (the black lines that come from the sides) aren't really telegraphed. Dodging is *possible,* but it's tricky in a way that doesn't feel intentional. A little exclamation mark right before they spawn in would go a long way methinks.

4. While I appreciate having a settings menu, none of the buttons do anything

NOW, THE ALREADY AWESOME

  1. Broadly, I like Uncharted Heroes a lot! It's very nostalgic for me; the bullet patterns remind me of Skylanders
  2. Gameplay flows pretty good- no real issues for the feel- and I'm a huge sucker for the realtime / turnbased hybrid approach
  3. I like the character design, too; the player reminds me of Nobody (from Nobody Saves the World) and the boss looks really cool! The floating animation is really lifelike. (Though again, animation on the sprite itself would go a long way)

for some reason I cannot fullscreen this but whatever, this is super cool and it reminds me of the binding of issac lowkey, I cant wait to see this one later on for sure.  This is a really cool concept!!

Positive Notes

I really enjoyed trying this demo. The battle mechanics immediately reminded me of Undertale, which made the combat feel familiar and fun to engage with. The concept is clear, and the gameplay already shows strong potential, especially considering this is still an early version. The controls were also straightforward and easy to understand, which made jumping into the game simple.

Areas for Improvement

  • Performance / Optimization
The main issue I experienced was performance. The browser version was running at what felt like very low FPS (around ~6 FPS), which made movement and combat feel slow and a bit difficult to play smoothly. I’m not sure if this is intended for the current build or just a browser limitation, but improving performance will likely make a big difference in how the gameplay feels.

Heya, could you pleassssse add wasd AND arrow keys for controls. Otherwise it’s great so far!
